Beautiful work, I particularly love the tops of the trees and the birds. The only qualm I have is that there is a big difference between the dragon's bird-like wings and the actual wings of the birds. But I adore the muscle lines on the tail, they've been done so very well.

The pose of the dragon doesn't really fit into a realistic scene because it's symbolic and unreal - it ignores the dragon's weight and physical laws. Not only because of the head rotated backwards or the tail, but also because of the neck jewelry. Why does it "fall in front", when the dragon, supposedly, is flying forward? This way it looks like the whole dragon is dragged by a mysterious power held in the jewelry ^^ Or like the dragon is levitating, not flying. I don't know if that was an intention, though.

If the scene was meant like a dream of the dragon, than it is absolutely ok It looks very dreamy.

The anatomy is great. The wings are a bit "weird", but that's only because they are fantastic and because such wings do not exist in creatures we know. They wouldn't be functional as well, but who cares about that on a picture? Overall, I do like the picture and I am looking forward to seeing it finished.
